2024 PSPRS Meetings

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-847, the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical District Local Pension Board is responsible for making decisions that are related to PSPRS (Public Safety Personnel Retirement System) retirement benefits under the pension plan. The Local Pension Board is also responsible for communicating and reporting all matters to the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Administrator.

 

The Local Pension Board consists of five members. One member of the Local Pension Board shall be the Chairperson of the Fire District Governing Board or the Chairperson's designee, two members elected by secret ballot by members employed by the Fire District, and two citizens appointed by the Chairperson of the Fire District Governing Board, one of whom is a resident of the fire district and one of whom has experience in personnel administration but who is not required to be a resident of the fire district.
