Meetings & Agendas

Per Arizona Revised Statute §38-431.01 meetings shall be open to the public. All legal action shall occur during a public forum and any person who desires to listen to deliberations and proceedings shall be permitted to attend. The public body must provide written minutes which shall be available for public inspection and posted on the website three working days after the meeting. The minutes must remain on the website for at least one year after the date of posting.

Posting Notice

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, the Governing Body of the Copper Canyon Fire & Medical District hereby states that all notices of their meetings will be posted at the following locations:

Copper Canyon Fire & Medical District Station 82 – 3240 E Beaver Creek Rd, Rimrock, AZ
Copper Canyon Fire & Medical District Station 83 – 3691 W. Cherry Creek Rd, Camp Verde, AZ

The respective notice will be available to the public at such location not less than 24 hours prior to a meeting unless the meeting covers an emergency as provided in A.R.S. §38-431.02.

Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.

Executive sessions may be held by the Governing Board meeting as provided in A.R.S. §38-431.03. Notice of executive sessions will also be posted at the posting place.

The Governing Body reserves the right to hold special meetings at times and places other than mentioned above. Notice of time and place of any special meeting will be posted at the posting place.
