Governing Board

The Copper Canyon Fire and Medical District is governed by a five-member board elected at large by the registered voters of the District. Board members are elected to alternating four-year terms so at least two are elected every two years. These members administer the affairs of the district through a multitude of state laws that determine the manner in which the district must conduct its business.

For the past four decades, my family has served in some capacity in fire and EMS in the Verde Valley. I personally have 27 years of fire and EMS experience including volunteer, reserve, and finally career positions.
